Import Waze Saved Places to Apple Maps
Export your Waze favorites to Apple Maps Guides. Free, private, works with CSV and KML exports.
How to Transfer
Waze doesn't offer a one-click export, but you can pull your favorites via the Waze Live Map editor and convert them to Apple Maps Guides in three steps:
- Open Waze on iPhone or Android and tap My Waze > Favorites
- Share or export your favorites list to a CSV or KML file via the Waze web app at waze.com/editor
- Upload the exported file to GoToAppleMaps.com
- Wait for matching to complete — each Waze favorite is located in Apple Maps
- Open your new Apple Maps Guide on iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Waze stores places as coordinates, so matching relies on reverse-geocoding. Most popular places match on the first try. Unmatched spots can be added manually.
