How to use the iOS / macOS app
- Export your saved places from Google Maps (Settings → Your data in Maps → Download your Maps data).
- Open GoToAppleMaps and import your CSV, KML, GPX, or JSON file.
- Review your places, then tap Convert.
- Your Apple Maps Guide opens automatically and syncs across all your devices.
How to enable the Safari Extension
- Install the GoToAppleMaps app from the App Store.
- Mac: Safari → Settings → Extensions → GoToAppleMaps → On.
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → Safari → Extensions → GoToAppleMaps → On.
- Visit google.com/maps. Click the extension icon and allow on google.com.
Quick Convert (web)
Paste any Google Maps link at gotoapplemaps.com/quick to open it directly in Apple Maps. No app needed.

- How many places can I convert? Unlimited. There are no limits.
- Is it free? Yes, completely free. No subscription, no paywall.
- Does it work with Google Takeout? Yes. Export your data from Google Takeout and import the CSV or JSON file.
- Are my places private? Yes. Place names are sent to our server only to resolve them in Apple Maps. No data is stored or shared. See our privacy policy.
